Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in PhD/Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with thesis work in Electrical Engineering (Focus on Power System Operation)
• Strong Work/Academic background experience in electrical power systems with focus on Power System Operation (Transmission & Distribution)
• Power System Operation & Control – Courses and Projects
• Projects and Papers related to Synchrophasors, PMUs, WAMS
• Experience with Simulation models for Power Systems
• Minimum cumulative or in-major 3.0/4.0 GPA.
• Must commit to working full time (40 hrs/wk) during the internship in summer.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in an office located in Bothell.
• Unrestricted legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
Desired Characteristics (Nice to have skills):
Technical Expertise:
• AI/ML Coursework and Projects
• Exposure to AWS/Azure
• Experience with Programming and Scripting
