Location: This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Littleton CO , and be expected to work in the office.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• As a Responsible System Engineer Delegate for a satellite power system, you will work with the lead RSE as the designated delegate to support all aspects of the RSE position. These include:
• Coordination of technical design changes, support system production, delivery, and all aspects of engineering closeouts (Discrepancy Reports; End-Item Data Packages, Material Review Board, Failure Review Board, etc.).
• Coordination with component responsible engineers and suppliers as required for hardware issues and support of system testing and ATLO to resolve test anomalies with associated troubleshooting
Review and presentation of Product Certification
• Risk management and identification of mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.
• Support specific topics (as applicable) during engineering reviews (to include but not limited to): Change Review Board, Engineering Review
Board, Quality Review Board, Material Review Board, Failure Review Boards, etc.
• Support teammates on best-practices associated to electronics design, test, and close- out.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• 9+ years professional experience; 7+ years with Masters degree.
• While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in the development of avionics systems or components for high reliability applications.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, thus you are a US Citizen. (No clearance required to start although desired)
Desired Skills:
• Experience in Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline experience with knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes.
• Self-motivated & willing to dive into problems that may exist outside their comfort zone (i.e., support investigate for production processes, if any).
• Demonstrated ability to quickly close out near-term tasking or address in a timely fashion.
• Experience performing specification/requirement development and documentation.
• Familiar with electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and electronics modeling/simulation tools such as SPICE.
• Familiar with design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.
• Familiar with electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis (eWCA), electrical parts stress analysis, failure modes and effects critical analysis).
• Experience performing failure investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).
• Strong communication skills, and experience presenting to peers, leadership, and/or customers
• Must be adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problems.
• Experienced at leading teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues
• Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics in tools such as Zuken
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
