Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Powertrain Engine Calibration Engineer – Intermediate for their Auburn Hills, MI location. Responsibilities: + The Global Transmission Calibration Engineer will be responsible playing an integral part for developing the customer driving experience as well as optimizing fuel economy. + Developing, verifying and releasing transmission calibrations for automatic transmission applications, + Performing hands-on, in-vehicle calibration development work, + Supporting test trips to verify proper transmission operation across environmental conditions and other assigned powertrain development activities. + In addition, this position will work to coordinate activities of global teams conducting various aspects of vehicle development for global markets. + This position will work with in-vehicle test instrumentation, ETAS-INCA calibration tools and mathematical analysis tools such as Matlab to meet objectives. + This role is responsible for working with a global team to manage transmission calibration project deliverables for assigned projects.
