Powertrain Sales Account Manager

Summary: Seeking a Powertrain Sales Account Manager to drive sales and profit in North America through business plans with network distribution partners.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field

5+ years of sales/account management experience with an OEM or Distributor

Experience with industrial products (mobile equipment, marine, gensets, pumps, compressors, packaging, rental equipment)

Customer interface and project management experience

Must work on-site (hybrid model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Willing to travel up to 50-75%

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of diesel engines

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute business plans with network distribution partners

Achieve yearly sales revenues, volume, profitability, and KPI targets for assigned accounts

Manage relationships and be the primary contact for issue resolution

Communicate and execute action plans with internal stakeholders to address customer concerns

Implement new customer acquisition plans for profitable growth

Support new customer acquisition at distributor level through lead validation and ride-alongs

Manage CRM entries for all business opportunities and leads

Provide product training for distribution partners

Oversee demand planning, forecasting, ordering, inventory management & scheduling processes

Develop market insights to inform sales tools and go-to-market strategies

Partner with marketing department for sales marketing initiatives

Attend industry trade shows and events for business development



Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
