PPM Administrative Assistant- FT Reg 5.1 (NI CAT OG)

Job Title:  Administrative Assistant-- Catawba, SC

Job Summary:

An Administrative Assistant for the Maintenance Management Team supports the Mill with the day-to-day administrative activities requested by the Operations/Maintenance Management Team as well as functions as administrative relief for other departments within the Mill. This position works with highly confidential / sensitive information and requires attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Organize, compile, and document records requested by the management team. Assist with vendor supplied documentation and invoice tracking Support Project management needs Assist with training initiatives and recordkeeping Help maintain schedules and coordinate calendar activities Attend meetings as requested Complete reports and maintain spreadsheets Function as administrative relief (back-up) for other mill-wide departments (i.e. fill-in for vacations, training, etc.) Maintain confidential / sensitive information Enter production information and produce reports Month-end reporting for Accounting Create department monthly reports Provide support for technicians & managers

Experience:

Minimum three (2) years administrative-related experience with degree; or minimum five (3) years administrative-related experience without a degree Proficient planning and organization skills Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills High degree of computer literacy to include MS Office Customer-service oriented Attention to detail

Qualifications:

Proficient utilizing SAP, Kronos, and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment Previous Paper Mill Experience a plus.

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas Must have full range of motion consistent with age Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
