Job Title: Planner/Scheduler - Southport, NC

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for supporting front line supervision and leadership of estimating, safety, planning, scheduling and work execution to assure that project is managed safe, on time and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assure that project contract deliverables are maintained and that work practices meet all requirements Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities Develop a weekly plan and forecast to define and share job priorities Perform purchasing and procuring of needed equipment/tooling and resources Interfacing with customer to provide up to date cost tracking Assist in defining critical spare parts and assure that they are available Operations support responsible complete project Identify, analyze, and review project obstacles and drive sustainable solutions. Function as a team player on leadership and cross-functional teams and to provide resources for other teams.

Qualifications:

5 years mechanical & electrical experience in an industrial production environment is required Direct supervision and project leadership experience highly preferred Construction Project planning and scheduling experience required Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal and written communication and reasoning is required Solid technical proficiency (O365, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas Must have full range of motion consistent with age Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
