The PPS Manager manages a team of three who coordinate the timely and accurate data completion of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility - Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI). The PPS Manager, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, leads the collection, review and monitoring of information contained in the IRF-PAI, assuring accuracy in the scoring of functional status and reflection of the patient’s care needs as documented in the medical record and the eRehab system.

The PPS Manager stays abreast of changes impacting IRF-PAI reimbursement, regulation and changes, and develops training to educate licensed clinical staff on the proper completion of the IRF-PAI. The PPS Manager works closely with IT to optimize applicable PPS workflows and tasks. This position will also assist in the ongoing monitoring of identified outcome benchmarks for the inpatient population. 

Successful candidates will possess:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred Two or more years of related PPS experience or equivalent field required Three to five years of experience in an acute hospital setting; preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation setting Clinical experience preferred Inpatient coding experience preferred Experience in leadership and development of team members. Proven track record of successful coaching and mentorship of team members. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, organizational and communication skills.
