What’s the gig?
FINN Partners is on the hunt for an Account Executive to join our UK travel PR practice. Ideally, you will have a minimum of one year of experience in PR or within journalism. You will need experience of media relations and pitching, writing, and social media comms as well as a passion for the travel industry.  You will have the desire or impulse to travel, wander and explore this beautiful world and be ready to bring your passion to an award-winning integrated agency.

What you’ll be up to?
As Account Executive you will support the wider team and work with some of the best destinations and brands in the business.  You will keep on top of the media, there’s a lot of reading for everyone here at FINN, papers, magazines and online to ensure we continue to develop opportunities and create inspiring content.  You will be monitoring and creating media lists, putting together activity reports, writing releases, organising, and hosting events, selling in stories, and attending client meetings.  Hosting media and keeping on top of journalistic needs and deadlines is integral to the role as well as arranging those all-important press trips. You’ll join brainstorms and develop ideas as a team; we are a collaborative bunch and want the opinions of all team members. 

What do you need to succeed?

General awareness of the travel and hospitality sectorSome work experience in public relations or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of agency/PR experienceEnthusiasm and desire to be involved in award-winning PR campaignsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of influencer landscape and opportunities  Excellent writing and presentation skillsGood attention to detail, organisation and confidence are all a mustResourceful and innovativeTeam playerIT whizzA love of travelUniversity degree
