Job Description Job Purpose

We are looking for a Payroll Intern to support our payroll operations by assisting in the processing and administration of employee payrolls. This role will provide hands-on experience in payroll systems, compliance, and reporting, making it an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates seeking to develop their careers in Human Resources and Payroll.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Support payroll data entry, including time and attendance records, employee changes, and deductions.

Help in reconciling payroll accounts and resolving discrepancies.

Assist in generating payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure proper documentation and filing of payroll records.

Support payroll compliance audits and contribute to maintaining accurate payroll data.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.

Provide general administrative support to the payroll team.

Qualifications and Skills

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Basic understanding of payroll processes, labor laws, and taxation is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with payroll software (experience with SAP, Workday, or similar systems is an advantage).

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
