**FPPS** has an outstanding opportunity for a **full-time (100% FTE, 40 hours/week)** , day shift, **Practice Advisor** .
**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ Work in collaboration with UWP’s key partners to provide practice analysis as it relates to member physicians’ clinical practice.
+ Serve as liaison between UWP and the Clinical Departments.
+ Demonstrate a keen understanding of the specific business lines provided within each Department.
+ Monitors the revenue cycle performance of each Department, performs analysis to identify Departmental or individual provider performance or reimbursement trends, and addresses specific billing and collection questions, bringing them to resolution.
+ Coordinates with UWP operational departments to create new workflows, troubleshoot issues, and resolve inquires by his/her assigned Clinical Departments. **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelors in business, mathematics, industrial engineering, health administration or related field.
+ 5 years experience working in healthcare with operations, physician billing or revenue cycle or 2 years experience coupled with Masters Degree in Business or Health Administration.
+ Technical expertise in physician billing and clinical operations. _UW Medicine Faculty Practice Plan Services (FPPS) supports UW Physicians (UWP), a practice group for more than 3,000 physicians and other healthcare professionals associated with UW Medicine.
