What You'll Do
The Practice Area Finance team provides business partnering and financial support to the firm's 20 global practices areas and is responsible for financial management, planning, and analysis.
As part of the Practice Area Finance team, you will act as a valued business partner to BCG leadership, providing the financial guidance and support needed to drive BCG’s strategic agenda. The practice areas encompass BCG’s industry and functional thought leadership and represents our business offerings within the market (i.e. Healthcare and Operations). Our team’s work is highly visible and is critical to the development and growth of BCG’s practices.
You will take part in a number of activities essential to the practice area operating model. As a member of our team, you can expect to:
Leverage business intelligence tools to build and analyse large financial datasets Collaborate with colleagues throughout BCG’s global network to ensure alignment of financial planning and business strategy Participate in the development of management reports, used by senior leadership to monitor BCG’s financial performance Facilitate communication between Practice Area Finance and internal business partners Contribute to the creation and tracking of projects Assist in ad hoc analyses and projectsWhat You'll Bring
Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the 2025 co-op cycle Working towards a BS/BA in a business-related field (preference for Finance, Accounting, or MIS) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Proficiency in Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, array functions, and conditional formulas Strong written and verbal communication skills Prior work, internship or co-op experience in a progressive corporate environment a plus Must have legal work authorization in the U.S.Who You'll Work With
The Practice Area Finance team is composed of eight members, with colleagues in both Boston and New Delhi; there is also regular communication with colleagues across the world.
