Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Director, performs all patient related clerical duties necessary to assist the Radiation Oncology health care team to provide patient care. This includes but is not limited to coordinating appointments, answering phones relating to patient care, obtaining patient records, arranging patient transportation, when necessary, through UBER Health, covers for receptionist duties as needed.

This role exemplifies warmth, patient engagement, and professionalism while functioning as a member of an integrated team to ensure patient needs are met. The efficiency of getting it right the first time, while giving great customer service, is an essential function of this job. Ensures accuracy and thoroughness in all patient data collection and information processing activities is a core competency of this role. Supports Departmental policies, practices, and initiatives, plus organizational goals as they relate to the 4 Pillars of Quality, Cost, Service, and Growth. Participates in creating a positive environment for patient and colleague satisfaction. Performs additional tasks as requested by Manager or his/her designee.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School DiplomaMinimum 2 years experience as in a medical settingMicrosoft Office skillsSuccessful completion of all Orientation Programs

Preferred:

Some CollegePrevious healthcare experienceBilingualEPIC experienceARIA experience

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift Working: 8:00am-4:00pmDay ShiftFull Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week
