Overview The Practice Coordinator monitors and supports the onboarding, care delivery efficiencies, and performance of physician, advanced practice, and psychotherapist provider groups by promoting cross-departmental collaboration, providing practice management, and financial and analytic support. This position will work closely and take direction from the service line executive leadership team. Responsibilities Job Description Job Expectations: New provider onboarding support: Create onboarding schedule and check list for new providers and manage the onboarding of providers, collaborating with leadership to insure all onboarding needs are met. Serve as the primary contact during orientation week. Collaborate with Fairview Provider Enrollment to ensure providers are enrolled with payers. Coordinate with appropriate departments to insure completion of required training and education both new and ongoing. Inform Credentialing department of credentialing for payors and track to insure there is no lapse in credentialing with payor groups. Practice Management: Attend provider and operations meetings as assigned. Responsible for office supply inventory including business cards, testing supplies, and general office items. Coordinate provider out of pocket expense reimbursement for approved expenses. Collect and notify providers of testing collateral materials received via mail. Manage provider practice area spreadsheet and resignation report. Provide reports to providers to promote efficiency and practice standards. Participation in schedule/registration team meetings as applicable. Support operations and patient care needs related to provider time off. Provider CME coordination and payment for providers. Coordinate and communicate provider schedules and changes to schedule. Support accreditation / licensure of services. Epic scheduling templates: Manage, create and update hours and availability / productivity established by manager. Complete and create templates in Epic. Provide caseload reports to providers and management upon provider resignation and leave of absence and by the request of the leader / provider to support panel management. Manage provider scheduling holds list to determine if an intake hold is necessary. Communicate status with providers and management. Compensation Model: Establish 1st year productivity targets in coordination with operational leadership. Prepare monthly productivity reports. Provide volume summary reports to leadership team. Retrieve data from multiple sources to complete productivity reports. Organization Expectations, as applicable: · Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served. o Partners with patient care giver in care/decision making. o Communicates in a respective manner. o Ensures a safe, secure environment. o Individualizes plan of care to meet patient needs. o Modifies clinical interventions based on population served. o Provides patient education based on as assessment of learning needs of patient/care giver. · Fulfills all organizational requirements. o Completes all required learning relevant to the role. o Complies with and maintains knowledge of all relevant laws, regulation, policies, procedures and standards. · Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency and innovative thinking. · Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education · Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or human services related field or an associate’s degree with minimum of 5 years directly related experience. Experience · 2 years of experience working in the field of healthcare or business; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
