This position maintains and supports the goals and operations of the Oregon Nurse Education, Practice Integration and Retention Demonstration Project, a multi-year pilot project between the OHSU School of Nursing and OHSU Hospital, integrating nurse education and practice for professional growth and satisfaction, education capacity, patient outcomes, and nurse retention at OHSU.
The Program Manager is responsible for structuring, coordinating and communication of Oregon Nurse Education, Practice Integration and Retention Demonstration Project activities. This position is accountable for bringing program and project management tools and best practices to project team/s.
Function/Duties of Position Provides overall project management for execution of the Oregon Nurse Education, Practice Integration and Retention Demonstration Project pilots.Administers and provides oversight for demonstration projects, and coordinates efforts with the School of Nursing and OHSU Hospital Division of Nursing.Prepares and partners with other stakeholders as needed in the preparation of reports to funding agency.Monitors and supports pilot projects progress, updating the leadership team and escalating issues needing to be addressed.Ensure relevant OHSU standards, processes and policies are followed throughout project and program implementation.Analyze, evaluate and overcome program and project risks, and communicate risks through program reports to leaders and stakeholders. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including report outs, guidelines and standard work. Required Qualifications Master's in relevant field AND 1 year of relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of training and experience.2years of progressively accountable administrative experience.
1-2years of preparing and managing budgets.
Experience with database management.
Team oriented.
Ability to work independently.
Must be able to prioritize tasks.
