Practice Manager, Analytics
At AWS, we are looking for a Professional Services Data & Analytics Practice Manager for our Emerging Technologies & Intelligent Platforms Practice.

We are seeking an action-oriented visionary who is craving to be part of a great company in a fast-growing industry. We need someone that will thrive in a fast-paced environment on our AWS Data Analytics Professional Services Practice. You will lead a team of AWS Data Analytics consultants and collaborate with our Service teams, local Partners to deliver business value to our customers through enabling teams with AWS delivery best practices in data and analytics services. The role requires both a deep Customer Obsession and Deliver Results mentality. The Emerging Technologies & Intelligent Platform practice will be the voice of the service team for professional services to help customers in their Data & Analytics journey by providing guidelines on performance, scalability, management, and serviceability of products through assembling, creating and sharing effective content and best practice for including Redshift, EMR, Athena, Kinesis, Kafka, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, and Neptune.

You will also work closely with your Professional Services colleagues in Machine Learning, High-Performance Computing, and Internet of Things (IoT) to provide comprehensive modern data-enabled solutions. You will collaborate with our AWS Sales, Business Development, Solutions Architect, Training and Service teams to help customers deploy our current solutions and provide input into new features and functionality.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Engage customers - collaborate with enterprise sales managers to develop strong customer and partner relationships and build a growing business in a geographic territory, driving AWS adoption in key markets and accounts. Sell infrastructure engagements - including short on-site projects proving the value of AWS services to support new distributed computing models.

- Coach and teach - collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon Simple DB/RDS databases, Amazon Redshift, etc.

- Deliver value - lead high quality delivery of a variety of customized engagements with partners and enterprise customers in the commercial sectors.

- Lead great people - attract top IT architecture talent to build high performing teams of consultants with superior technical depth, and outstanding customer relationship skills

- Be a customer advocate - Work with AWS engineering teams to convey partner and enterprise customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps
