+ POSITION SUMMARY: + In collaboration with the Medical Director and the Sr. Vice President of Operations, develops and coordinates efficient department procedures that support the operations of Dermatology practice. Overall responsibility for providing other administrative functions of the department. Maintains effective verbal and written communications at multiple levels within internal and external customers. Directs and guides staff and ensures appropriate utilization of human and capital resources. Individual must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task. Supervises staff and day-to-day practice operations. Provides leadership with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Problem solving skills must be well developed. Collaborates with providers to improve processes and resolve issues. Provides direct patient care and assists MD with office procedures. Mentors staff in care delivery. + QUALIFICATIONS: + EDUCATION: + Minimum: + High School graduate + A.A.S. degree in business, computers. + Preferred: + BS in related field + LICENSE: + PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: + WORK EXPERIENCE: + Minimum: + 5 years experience in Physician Practice, prior supervisory role. + Experience with computerized patient scheduling. + Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, power point + Preferred: + Knowledge of Physician Office and Physician billing. + Ability to create and manage an operating budget. + Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point. + Meditech and LSS systems experience and patient scheduling. + SKILLS: + Minimum: + Exceptional interpersonal skills, including prior positive physician relations. + Demonstrates ability to work independently and maintain current systems. + Demonstrates ability to prioritize workload, develop/maintain efficient office systems and complete payroll. + Strong verbal/written skills in communicating skills. + Exceptional organization skills, working knowledge of CPT-codes. + Preferred: + Outpatient admission/registration experience preferred. + Medical terminology Salary $60,000.00-$68,000.00
