PRC Scheduler/Planner
Overview The PRC Scheduler/Planner is responsible for developing and providing schedules for all projects being planned and performed by the PRC for a large facility U.S. Government Operations and Maintenance program located in Iraq. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. Responsibilities MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: According to PRC projects priorities, develops production schedule for all projects. Produce schedules for fabrication, installation, and repair of all systems related to PRC projects. Correlate project schedules to align with client forecasted master schedule. Update client through accepted and sponsored software Analyzes production specifications and construction data and performs mathematical calculations to determine material, tools, and human resources requirements for the schedule. Plans and develops workflow for each craft and operations according to the previously established client sequences and lead times. Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other operations for guidance of construction workers. Confer with FM and PRC management to determine status of projects. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Prepares production reports. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Windows Computer and associated software, cell phone, two-way radio, vehicle and other office equipment. All equipment of types that require maintenance or certifications pursuant to the OBO Maintenance Standards and/or applicable code or manufacture requirements, Equipment which is operated through a sequence of operations, • electronic controllers, sensors, and network devices, agency owned sensors, if applicable WORKING ENVIRONMENT: . This contract is performed in a contingency operations environment, in a harsh climate, and often hazardous situations. While performing the duties of this contract, the employee will regularly be exposed to an extreme and austere desert environment. Temperatures can reach 120 – 130 degrees Fahrenheit/50 – 55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform job requirements in this environment, as well as deploying to Iraq for extended periods. Work schedules are typically six (6) days per week and ten (10) hours per day. Employees may be performing physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors. All employees must be able to move quickly to cover during security alarms. This includes being able to lift, carry and/or wear forty (40) pounds of personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time and being capable of running during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk. All staff must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent education is required. Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license from home of record. Security Vetting: Already possess a U.S. Government (USG) issued Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) security clearance or be able obtain a favorable USG MRPT clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required clearance level for the duration of the task order. Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health and security measures. Citizenship: No specific requirement. Experience: Five (5) years experience scheduling facilities related renovation and construction projects. Skills: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information. Expert computer skills, specifically Microsoft Project, Word and Excel. Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team. Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change. Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management. Relevant overseas contract experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio. Previous work experience in hard environmental conditions.
