Pre-Employment Specialist
This is a hybrid position.

The Recruiting and Pre-Employment Specialist is responsible for supporting multiple departments by playing a critical role associated with the pre-employment screening process. Responsibilities include providing a positive candidate experience, various administrative tasks, and knowledge of Federal DOT and Company requirements. The position will require the ability to provide quality work while multi-tasking and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the HR, Talent, Safety and field operations teamsEnsure timely and accurate data entry such as documenting notes, updating statuses in the recruiting tool, updating spreadsheets, and completing weekly reportsReview pre-employment screening reports, escalate to appropriate department when necessaryOrder background checks, drug screenings, and other required pre-employment screening reportsCreate a positive candidate experience by remaining attentive and responsive during the recruiting and pre-employment processTimely and appropriate communication with internal and external customersCommunication with third party vendors to obtain results, when necessaryEnsure all searches comply with Company policies and procedures and with employment laws and regulationsAdherence to all DOT and FMCSA regulations and standardsMaintain working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws as well as current human resources best practicesCross-train functionality to assist our recruiters, when necessaryPerforms other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED requiredOne (1) or more years experience of high-volume administrative, human resources, or safety supportKnowledge of DOT regulations strongly preferredExperience maintaining confidential files and reportsMicrosoft Office experience

Physical/Mental Demands:

Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, talk and hear.Visual Requirements: include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

Work in indoor office environment 95% of the time.Noise level is usually moderate.
