Overview of Responsibilities Adhere to the Admitting Policy and Discharge Policy standards of nursing care. Provide comprehensive nursing care to meet the total needs of the patient during
the immediate Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II period.Observe vital signs, IV site, dressings, tubes, drains, and any special monitoring
equipment required for the admit and recovery period.Continually assess patient according to systematic approach and notify the
anesthesiologist or surgeon of any pertinent findings or changes.Assess and implement discharge from each area of care i.e. Pre-Op, PACU,
Phase II. Initiate, maintain, and perform discharge instructions for use of PCA’s (if ordered
for inpatients) and postoperative care at home. Education/Experience

Education: Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing

Licensure: Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Indiana

Schedule Details Day shift. 36 hours weekly. 7:00a-7:30p. What We Offer
