The Trimble Field Systems group is hiring for a Pre Sales Dealer Enablement Trainer role who will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of curriculum and content to support the training of dealers for our Civil Construction portfolio — on machine, off machine and office software.
The role will be focused on teaching and enabling our sellers, internal and dealers, how to sell the Civil Construction offerings, the value proposition of the solutions for the contractor’s business, understanding contractor pain points and speaking to those in a sales demo.
Key areas of focus for the role include understanding the learning needs of our sellers across both the dealer channel and internal teams — both established dealers and new dealers, the development of curriculum and content to support their learning needs, deployment of content via e-learning sites, virtual led training and in person training. The role will also be responsible for the establishment of a structured “train the trainer” program to extend the reach of the training.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Having a deep understanding and strong working knowledge of the Civil Construction business, the Trimble offerings and the value of Trimble technology for our customersDeveloping the best in class sales enablement training for all of our sellers — whether internal or in the channelIdentifying and defining the learning needs of our sellers, both internal and dealers, and translating this into a structured learning and development programStrategically defining the learning programs and process for enabling our dealers that includes the right feedback to understand dealer personnel development and capabilitiesHaving a deep understanding of the sales process and importance of speaking to the customer’s pain points in an engaging, meaningful wayDeveloping learning curriculum and content for adult learners to support the enablement of our dealers to be the best sellers of technology to the industryOngoing management and maintenance of content to ensure latest products and solutions are reflected in the materialsDeployment and ongoing management of content via e-learning websitesIn person and virtual training of sellers (internal and dealers) as well as train the trainerSupport to both the Civil business and Dealer Health & Performance team in the rollout and training associated with new programs, for example selling the subscription offeringsEstablishing and systematically managing dealer personnel and internal sales rep training engagement, results, capabilities and skill gaps — and working closely with both the Dealer Health & Performance team and sales team to understand gaps and needsWorking closely with the business to understand product messaging, customer value proposition and workflows and translating this into learning contentProvide structured feedback from sellers to the marketing team that can be leveraged to inform product developmentCoordination with the Post Sales Dealer Training team on an as needed basis
