Pre-sales Engineer HPE

To compliment this dynamic team, we are currently looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer HPE in our Bucharest, Romania Office. 

 Job Description:

Pre and post sales activities based on HPE vendor portfolio.Conduct installation of HPE technical solutions (storages, servers, SAN infrastructure, backup appliances)Understanding of Operational challenges and dependencies as they relate to infrastructure decisions.Experience with Enterprise applications and servicesSensitivity to Security best practices as related to infrastructure and application architectures.Perform troubleshooting, system upgrades and deploymentsAssist with high visibility customer escalations requiring moderate technical analysisObtaining HP certification through various technical coursesCollaborate with partners in establishing and building positive customer relationshipsActs as technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of assigned channel partners and their end usersMakes technical and sales presentations to channel partner's technical and sales staffLearning and facilitating HPE oriented courses for Ingram Micro valuable partnerParticipate in preparing technical solutions and design with Senior Engineers

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in IT technologiesAt least 2-year experience working with products from specified vendor portfolio.Ability to conduct effective group presentations and/or trainingsExcellent knowledge of English languageHaving vendor certification will be an advantage.University diploma with Technical Background will be an advantage.Strong understanding of high availability concepts with practical experience and implementation of key components (databases, application servers, fault tolerant systems, cluster server/software, etc.)Basic understanding of Networking infrastructure components including Core and Edge switches, VLANs etc.
