Pre - Sales / Estimator Intern 

We have an opportunity for a Pre - Sales / Estimator Intern to join us at Honeywell in CAIRO, EGY. To be successful in this role, you need to have basics of HVAC,\n Building Management system or PLC.

Responsible for robust estimation processes to\ndeliver best in quality and cost competitive bids to enable achievement of HBS\nregional sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation- Input\n study, generation of RFI’s, HVAC equipment take-off, preparation of IO\n summary, DDC controller sizing, field device selection, preparation of\n BOQ, costing, valve selection, cable scheduleProposals-\n Studying specifications and arrive at inclusion/ exclusion list, Technical\n qualifications/ assumptions/ deviations.Technical\n submittals- Preparation of system architecture, floor risers, control\n schematics, specification compliance etc. as per regional requirements.Commercial\n exposure- Vendor management, taxations.Contributing and\n tracking the regional technical preferences on estimations, awareness of\n the product ranges, ability to apply knowledge and understanding of\n Honeywell products to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.Sound Knowledge of\n business processes and systems.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Pursuing /\n Graduate from technological university in related discipline preferably automation,\n Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, telecommunication EngineeringWorking hours’\n flexibility to meet deadlines. MS office (Excel\n & word) competency.Basics of HVAC,\n Building Management system, PLC,Basic\n instrumentation- PID, closed loop and open loop system, types of IO’s,\n refrigeration cycleBasic electrical\n systems- Transformer\n - Concept, Application, Types of Power, 3 phase & single phase
