About this opportunity:

In the Product Engineering & Troubleshooting/Repair department, we are strengthening our capability to better support mechanical assembly and disassembly of the Radio Base-station Units (RBU’s) as they go through troubleshoot and repair. As a Product Repair Technician in the Pre-Troubleshoot team your role is ensure proper handling of the entire radio in preparation for troubleshoot and repair. You will be performing Air Leak Testing, troubleshoot mechanical issues and support the daily intake of units along with putting them back in flow.

 

What you will do:

Work in a team of highly skilled electronic troubleshooters on failed products to help them by performing assemble and disassemble radio units using electrical and pneumatic toolsPerform cleaning on product (thermal paste, grease) during assembly / disassemblyHandling thermal paste dispensing robotPerform Air Leakage Test (ALT) operations according to standardized work instructions and maintain production and quality standardsPerform root cause analysis and defect identification on a product have Mechanical / Cosmetic issues from Production, narrow down a problem (debug), and practical solutions to repair in-order to meet the quality on the productEnsure the conformity of products by performing basic quality auditing, and troubleshooting functions

 

The skills you bring:

Ability to resolve problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and should be organized and structuredReadiness to learn Production databases, new technologies, Processes, and eager to develop competence in the technical domainContribute to the overall success of the Repair department team goals, and meet volume production needsKnowledge of electrical and pneumatic tools; experience on equipment maintenance, and as product test operatorEnglish in both spoken and written, and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleaguesAbility to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when requiredHigh school diploma; technical school preferred with minimum 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment
