**16832BR** **Title:** PreAdmission Registration Specialist **Department/Cost Center:** 846 - Business Office/Cashiers **Job Description:** Using excellent customer service skills and exercising thorough knowledge of hospital policies and procedures as they relate to registration, coverage, payment and scheduling; completes the preadmission account for all surgical cases. Monitors and ensures that all functions are completed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner; works with physician’s offices on level of care discrepancies; accountable for meeting department standards for completion of QA on a day-to-day basis by making sure everything checks out on the registration checklist. Follow-up calls to third-party payers for status to confirm coverage. **Salary Range:** $18.65 - $24.70 an hour _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job.
