Job Description: Precaster

Location: Spokane, WA

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Aerotek is currently hiring for a Precaster in Spokane, WA, to join a team involved in the manufacturing of precast and pre-stressed concrete components. In this hands-on role, you will work with metal forms to create reinforced concrete slabs, stairs, and beams. The work environment is dynamic and may be hot, sweaty, and dirty, with tasks that require physical stamina and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble metal forms for molding reinforced concrete slabs, stairs, and beams.Clean and prepare molds for concrete pouring.Pour and finish concrete according to established specifications.Frequently climb in and out of 5-6 ft tall, narrow concrete forms.Assist with the setup and stripping of concrete forms, as well as filling and leveling concrete castings.Help maintain a clean and organized work environment, including housekeeping duties.Read and understand the Production Schedule to ensure work is completed within specified timeframes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.Must be able to climb in and out of 5-6 ft tall forms that are narrow.Ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, stretch, and climb for extended periods.Proficiency in reading a tape measure to 1/16”.Competence with hand and power tools.Ability to use concrete finishing tools.Ability to work well with others in a drama-free, team-oriented environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., overhead cranes) is a plus.Some woodworking skills are preferred.Welding, maintenance, quality control, and welding skills are a plus.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
