Austin Industrial, Inc. - We are currently seeking an experienced Precision Mechanical Assembler to work onsite at Kimberly-Clark's Neenah, Wisconsin facility.
This position will provide essential maintenance services for machinery in a manufacturing environment.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent (Grade 12 certificate) and a Valid Driver's License.
Must pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening. Payrate: $29.40/hr. No Per Diem.

Precision Mechanical Assembler
Must be able to work onsite to provide maintenance services, including the installation, repair, replacement, and dismantling of machinery in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and safely, directly contributing to the overall productivity of Kimberly-Clark’s operations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

● Replace defective parts of machines or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
● Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
● Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
● Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment using blueprints and schematic drawings.
● Insert shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts using hand tools and measuring instruments to set specified clearances.
● Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
● Attach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly units using hand tools and power tools.
● Assemble machines, bolt, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundations or other structures using hand tools and power tools.
● Lay out mounting holes using measuring instruments and drill holes with power drills.
● Bolt parts such as side and deck plates, jaw plates, and journals to basic assembly units.
● Level bedplates and establish centerlines using straightedges, levels, and transit.
● Dismantle machines use hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
● Dismantle machinery and equipment for shipment to installation sites.

Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education – High school diploma or GED equivalent (Grade 12 certificate).
Experience – 3-5 years of Journeyman-level experience in mechanical assembly.
