In this highly detail-oriented role, you will use your expertise in shop math, documentation, and manufacturing processes to review parts from CNC machines and ensure they meet dimensional specifications. This position is perfect for candidates with a variety of manufacturing experience in precision measuring. **Responsibilities:** + Follow all documented measurement procedures. + Collaborate with Manufacturing Managers to ensure compliance with equipment calibration system requirements. + Use precision measurement tools like micrometers, height gauges, optical gauges, and others for inspections. + Inspect parts with reference to blueprints and work orders by applying knowledge of machining, shop math, and statistics. + Document findings with internal customers and develop corrective action plans. + Maintain accurate records and inventory of tools. **Essential Skills:** + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Expertise in using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc. + Experience in inspecting manufactured parts, ideally from a machine shop or similar environment. + Ability to perform shop math for measuring and calculating dimensions. + Capability to read work order documents and document if parts meet compliance. **Why Work Here?** Our team enjoys long tenures, with average employee duration ranging from 6-10 years.
