We're looking for a Premises Officer to join our team based in Catford, Greater London.
Location: Catford, Greater London.
Hours: 40 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Premises Officer you'll be working within the Maintenance Team, supporting with the optimal functioning and safety of the school premises.
Your day to day will include:
Take responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the premises, including buildings, fixtures, fittings, and furniture. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly proactive quality checks of the premises to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Carry out minor repairs and report major repairs to the Premises Manager. Perform general grounds maintenance to enhance the appearance of outdoor areas. Assist school staff with various tasks such as large display mounting, furniture moving, and repairs to classrooms/school equipment
What are we looking for?
This role of Premises Office is great for you if you have:
Previous experience in premises management, facilities maintenance, or a related field. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations with the ability to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Flexibility to work outside regular hours and respond to emergencies as needed. Capable of handling and moving equipment, furniture, and supplies efficiently and safely. Proficient in performing routine maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and general upkeep of the premises to ensure a safe and functional environment.We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferable skills are always welcome!
