Premium Connections Manufacturing Services Analyst/Sr. Analyst- Houston, TX  

 

LOCATION: Houston - Texas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: TECHNOLOGY 

 

Purpose
Analyzes, interprets, recommends courses of action and provides Engineering and Technical Assistance in one or more of the following areas:  Gauges,  Tooling, CNC Programming, Procedures, Forming, Drawing/IR, Training/Qualification, Special Processes, and Quality for TenarisHydril Premium Connections for Tenaris facilities and third party  licensees. Interact with internal and external contacts with higher level of autonomy.


Main Responsibilities

Designs, maintains and organizes tooling and inserts for use in producing TenarisHydril Connections. Designs, improves and develops alternative gauging methodology, procedures and process for TenarisHydril gauges. Ensures issues relating to quality for Licensee and Manufacturing Services specifically: Audits, Corrective Actions, Customer Survey, Deviation Request. Procedures and Training are operational and effective. Establish content and format for all Procedures and Drawings/IR  for TenarisHydril Connections. Define, standardize and improve Forming Processes and Stress Reliving for TenarisHydril Connections. Write, modify and maintain all programs for TenarisHydril connections used by all Threading Facilities and Licensees. Performs assistance activity for the support of TenarisHydril premium connections including, licensee qualification, training, licensee quality audits, and licensee technical assistance. Provides timely response to support requests in a professional and efficient manner in support of customers expectations To comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process. Implement the preventive/corrective actions. Keep updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment. Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
