Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy. Degree Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree if graduated before 1/1/2002. Master's degree required if graduated after 1/1/2002. International candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's degree preferred). Licensure: Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Occupational Therapy license in the state where services will be provided within the first 90 days of employment. Certifications: CPR certification required within the first 90 days of employment. Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to expiration dates. Membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association is preferred. Driving Requirements: If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required. If using a personal vehicle, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license are required. Experience: Work experience is preferred but not required, beyond clinical experience during the educational training program. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds (or 100 pounds with shared lifting). Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional Requirements: Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
