You can learn more about our products and who we are at: www.circuitboardmedics.com Job Description  As a Prep & Assembly Technician, you will use hand tools, power tools, and semi-automated machines to prepare parts for the repair process. You will also clean and reassemble repaired products to meet our “better than new” standards. You will be trained on the job to ensure you meet our quality standards.  You can expect to start training and contributing on day one. In this role, not only will you will play a key role in supporting our fast-paced work and high quality results, but you will have the opportunity  to acquire knowledge and skills that can lead to more advanced positions   Responsibilities + Fulfilling production orders for delivery to proper teams + Opening common module housings + Sandblasting (with proper PPE) + Preparing modules for repair + Working with chemicals (with proper PPE) + Wearing anti-static protection to protect modules in their most fragile state + Performing preventative maintenance on equipment + Operating specialized equipment + Following proper escalation procedures + Assembling common modules and preparing them to be shipped + Working with Shipping and Receiving to ensure orders are shipped on time Skills + Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time + Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, though most often less than 15 lbs + Ability to move at a fast pace + Must have basic computer skills for logging repair information + Ability to Notate Repair Notes that Communicate Well + Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time + Attention to detail and the ability to communicate those details effectively + Must be comfortable using a variety of tools, including blades, drills, mallet, and more Qualities You Should Exhibit  + Consistent, punctual attendance + Curiosity + Strong sense of urgency + Intrinsic motivation + Lifelong learner + Ownership + Humility to ask clarifying questions, but confidence in your skills + Receptive to feedback + Faithful in the details + Strong sense of community + Efficient but patient + Good vision (use of corrective lenses is okay) + Detail oriented Benefits + Health Insurance  - eligible 1st of the month after hire + Voluntary Benefits - dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance + Paid time off - 2 weeks per year + Paid holidays - 8 per year + Stable Hours - Monday - Friday, days + 401(k) with company matching + Parental time-off + Adoption benefits + Casual dress code + Branded clothing allowance + Free fruit + Social outings What can you expect during the application process? + Start by applying online through our website or Indeed paying close attention to our custom application questions.
