Position available: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., working one day during each week and working every other weekend (total of 32 hours per pay period).

Responsibilities:
The Prep Cook/Cook performs various food preparation, cooking and cleaning tasks to ensure the kitchen remains efficient in creating and delivering dishes for residents. As a Cook, they are responsible for creating high-quality meals for our residents, ensuring that all food is crafted to meet established state and local food codes, regulations, and best practices. This role involves meticulous attention to detail in meal preparation to maintain the highest standards of nutrition and safety.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED. Vocational training in quantity food preparation preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year cooking experience is required, with a background in preparing and cooking meals in a restaurant, event catering, school, or healthcare/senior services setting. Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations and food service operations is highly desired.
