We’re excited to bring Emmy Squared Pizza to Short Pump — and we’re on the lookout for reliable, detail-driven Prep Cooks to join our opening team!

Known for our Detroit-Style pizza, served with a side of Brooklyn Soul, Emmy Squared is a growing restaurant group with locations across multiple states and more on the way. We’ve earned loyal fans (and a few awards!) for our crispy Frico crusts, delicious burgers, and welcoming neighborhood vibe — and now, we’re ready to make our mark in the Greater Richmond area.

As a Prep Cook, you’ll set the foundation for every great shift. You’ll work behind the scenes to keep our kitchen prepped and ready — with a special focus on preparing our signature dough that helps give our pizza its one-of-a-kind flavor and texture.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare ingredients and support daily kitchen prep to recipe specs

Assist with dough production and portioning (training provided!)

Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation

Keep your prep station clean, organized, and stocked

Support the line and dish teams as needed

What You Bring:

Kitchen or prep experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right Emmployee

Comfort working on your feet in a fast-paced, back-of-house setting

Strong attention to detail and consistency

A team-first mindset and willingness to jump in where needed

Excitement to learn dough prep and grow your kitchen skills
