Position Overview
The Graphic Production Designer I will use Adobe Creative Suite software to process graphic files for special events, tradeshows, and exhibits. This position is responsible for taking files or artwork created by the Hargrove creative design team and/or the client brand team and creating layout files primarily for large format printing needs. This position reports to the Manager, Graphic Production.
Key Job Responsibilities
Graphic Detailing
• Create, compile and/or process graphic files from a multitude of sources for large format printing.
• Deliver high quality and maintain consistent print production files.
• Collaborate with Producers, Event Managers, Production Managers on creative project solutions.
• Maintain standardized project files.
• Interpret detail drawings and effectively apply graphics per specifications.
• Maintain color and graphic consistency in files for output.
• Properly process orders through internal MIS (FORMs) system.
• Contribute to project quality control from graphic design through the printing process.
• Adhere and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Other duties as assigned.
Safety
• Follow all applicable OSHA and corporate safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment by maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Job Qualifications
• Associates or higher degree in graphic design or certificate in Adobe Creative Suite software is a plus
• 0-2 years working experience in graphic design, pre-press, and/or related fields for print production
• Proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
• Color management skills is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Organization skills and problem-solving skills

Work Environment
Office
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Hargrove based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
