Job Summary
Are you ready to leverage your technical expertise and customer-facing skills in the fast-paced tech industry? As a Pre-sales Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge software solutions, partnering with our sales team to help close deals and deliver exceptional results to our clients. We provide continuous training and mentorship to ensure your success in this exciting role.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales executives as the primary technical lead throughout the pre-sales lifecycle. Present and demonstrate AvePoint’s product offerings, aligning them with customer objectives both remotely and on-site. Guide prospective customers through their evaluation and selection process, ensuring clear communication and support. Build custom environments as Proof of Concept (POC) to demonstrate how our solutions address customer needs. Assist in writing proposals (RFIs/RFPs) that showcase how AvePoint solutions deliver value and return on investment. Serve as the customer advocate and liaison to AvePoint’s product management and development teams. Help the sales team understand customer business objectives to best align AvePoint and Microsoft technologies. Establish and maintain relationships with key customer advocates to drive long-term solution adoption. Develop a customer vision for how AvePoint can enhance their operations, reduce costs, and increase business agility. Support AvePoint’s Partner and Marketing teams in field activities when required.

In this role, you will be a key technical resource during the sales cycle, becoming an expert in our software and services. You will educate customers, build consensus, and demonstrate how AvePoint’s solutions address their concerns with SharePoint and Office 365.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or related fields. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the tech industry. Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage customers confidently. Advanced business and technical communication skills, with the ability to align technical solutions with business needs. Strategic thinker with a sales-driven mentality to help close deals using technical knowledge. Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing, dynamic industry. Strong business analysis and troubleshooting skills.

Technical Skills

3-5 years of experience in the tech industry. Knowledge of cloud offerings such as Azure and AWS. Experience in IT services, consulting, or solution pitching. Broad knowledge of server and cloud technologies in the tech industry.
