What you’ll do
The Customer Solution Authority’s (CSA) primary role is the dedicated solution authority within a Vodafone customer account. As such, the role will be responsible for working with sales and directly with the customer to design, cost, and document the solutions to be offered. Additionally, they are accountable for the technical relationship with the customer and the associated contractual aspects.
The CSA will establish and maintain an excellent understanding of the customer’s business and technology needs. Additionally, they will have a detailed understanding of the products and services that exist within the Vodafone Portfolios.
The CSA will respond to requests for new technology or technology-derived solutions from the customer but will also be accountable for pro-actively creating new opportunities within the customer’s environment.
The CSA will have full accountability for the solutions that Vodafone provides to the customer. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the solutions are of high quality, commercially viable and have been approved by the customer and all internal stakeholders.
The CSA in most cases will lead a virtual design team, acting as end-end solution authority across multi-portfolio solutions, driving improvements in efficiency and quality where appropriate.
The CSA will work closely with other members of Vodafone, as part of a virtual team. The virtual team will comprise a range of disciplines i.e. The Account Team, Technical Teams, Commercial, Operations, Product, Programmes & Projects, and Service, ensuring that the end-end solution is fit for purpose and can be readily deployed and operated by Vodafone in a profitable manner.
The nature of this customer facing role means some travel is to be expected. The customer (s) this role will be dealing with are large enterprise/large multinationals.

• Relevant higher education in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Must have core expertise in designing complex solutions in one or more of the following areas:
IP Networking (SDWAN/WAN & LAN), Unified Comms including IPT, Contact Centres, IM, Email and Video Conferencing, Security solutions, Mobility and Mobile Data Services.
• Experience with IT Managed Services desired, preferably with ITIL, eTOM or TOGAF experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in dealing with large corporate customers in a solution design or consultancy role – ideally with experience of acting as end-end customer solution authority.
