We are seeking a Presales Engineer for Zerto. The territory is Houston, TX. Zerto helps customers accelerate IT transformation by eliminating the risk and complexity of modernization and cloud adoption. Responsibilities:

Deliver the Zerto message and vision including technical architecture presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers and partnersConduct live and virtual customer meeting presentations and demonstrationsSupport lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.Lead technical sales callsQualify sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.Stay current with continuous education of Zerto’s latest software, platforms and cloud solutionsActs as technical expert to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of customersImplement and manage POCs to technical closureOwnership of all pre-sales activities in support of technical evaluation and validation of Zerto solution  Continuously drive and promote value of Zerto solutions to partners and customersInteract with Product Management to ensure the product fills customer requirements and communicate these requirements

Requirements:

At least 5 to 7 years’ experience of Pre-Sales Engineering or similar customer facing role, experience preferably in a software or data center environmentThe successful candidate must have a fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery.Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomouslyStrong practical understanding of Datacenter and Cloud architecture (VMWare, Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.…)Thrives in a fast-paced environment; the ability to handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow upPossess a high level of business acumen and experience working with all levels of decision makers including Cx0 level personnel, helping to bring technology solutions to solve the most critical business challengesAbility to travel 50%Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience

 Highly Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other major CRMKnowledge of or familiarity of real-life IT environmentsEnterprise-level systems administration, recovery, and configurationExperience in server, storage, and\\or network administrationDecent practical working with and administration of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or other mass-market databasesStrong Linux or UNIX administration skills & familiarity with the installation and configuration of Linux or UNIX operating systems & setup and operation of TCP/IP networking on Linux or UNIX systemsExperience with PowerShell, shell scripting or REST API scriptingAbility to test and setup customer-like computing environments for demo/troubleshooting purposesUnderstanding of computer and networking hardware, Network routing, configuration, etc.

USD Annual Salary: $141,000.00 - $332,000.00
