Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. May have project lead role. Minimum 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. Minimum 5 years relevant Operating  System (Linux, Unix) experience. Demonstrated proficiency in at least one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as required. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

 

Required Skills

Technical expertise in Linux Operating systems and related internals. Experience with Linux Server Administration Linux System Administrator Certification(s) including advanced features like clustering Experience with Networking and Storage Administration Experience with Scripting in Perl, PHP, BASH

Desirable Skills

 

Technical Expertise with containers & Kubernetes Experience with automation technologies such as Ansible & Terraform
