Working as a Preschool Enrollment Assistant (ERSEA Assistant) at Acelero Learning Learning gives you the opportunity to give back to your local community by engaging and supporting the families and children in our program. You will be responsible for assuring that the program maintains full enrollment serving the community’s highest need children. This position must be held by an individual who can fully understand the Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) Head Start Performance Standards and is able to implement them accurately at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure the eligibility, selection, and enrollment processes adhere to Head Start Program Performance Standards and Acelero policies and procedures
• Support families and other staff in the use of the Online Family Application (such as setting up account, answering questions, entering information, uploading documents, etc)
• Review all applications received and work directly with families to ensure that all necessary enrollment/intake forms are completed and obtained in a timely manner for all children/families assigned to their Center(s)
• Determine the eligibility of children/families, ensuring that all family documentation is accurate and complete
Job Requirements:
1. High School Diploma / GED required; AA/AS in Social Work, Education, or a related field preferred
2. Knowledge/Experience of HS Performance Standards preferred
3. Physical exam and background checks are required for this position
4. Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions
5. Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
This is a full-time position and the pay rate is $21.13 hourly.
