DUTIES:\n
Among the duties [expected of Spurwink Special Education Teachers] are planning and delivering instruction, writing and implementing goals for Individual Education Plans, providing behavior management aligned with an integrated therapeutic model, creating and maintaining a classroom culture that supports the therapeutic model, and supervising Educational Technicians III assigned to their classrooms.\n
QUALIFICATIONS:\n
Candidates must have Maine State certification as Teacher of Exceptional Students (282) or be eligible for 282 certification. A letter of eligibility for 282 certification is required if less than professionally\/provisionally certified.\n
