**Job Overview:**
Work collaboratively within the Project team and with Client to maintain positive relationships. Reports to the Commissioning Manager and responsible to plan, develop, coordinate, and execute preservation requirements on the project until handover to Client, and support Client till project completion as required. Develops the Preservation Plan for the project. Reviews the vendor requirements for preservation and maintenance. Responsible to verify equipment vendor’s requirements for maintenance prior to start the hot (dynamic) commissioning and to ensure the requirements for prevention does not breach vendor warranty requirements. Collaborates with the Completions Coordinator to ensure the preservation requirements and records are loaded into the System Completion Database system for site execution Supervise a preservation & maintenance team comprised of multi discipline personnel that will perform and maintain all preservation & maintenance activity requirements at Site from receipt of equipment until handover to Client. The project is in the Green Steel / Green Hydrogen Market and with Site at Boden, Sweden.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborates with the Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Materials Management, Construction and Commissioning to ensure no gaps are overlooked with regards to maintaining preservation from the time equipment is purchased to the time equipment care, custody and control is passed to the Client.
+ Collaborates with Mechanical Commissioning specialist to implement the lubrication schedule for the rotating equipment as part of the Pre-Commissioning Execution Plan.
+ Responsible for the execution of the plant preservation activities, record keeping, in accordance with the Preservation Plan.
+ Record the completion of the preservation activities and ensure all records are passed to the Completions Coordinator for entry into the System Completion Database system.
+ Performs and supervises the analysis of repair orders relative to craft resources, materials, tools and methods required.
+ Responsible to coordinate the safe and effective utilization of all materials, equipment and personnel assigned to the preservation / maintenance team in the area under his responsibility.
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Preferably an Engineering degree or equivalent diploma.
+ Must have a minimal of 5 years’ experience on EPC projects in a supervisory position as a preservation or maintenance lead / coordinator.
+ Must have experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, Power industry or Steel Industry in a preservation or maintenance position.
+ Be able to read and understand various types of documents, such as P&ID’s, SLD’s, Isometrics, GA’s, exploded views, and Vendor O&M manuals.
+ Specific in-depth experience in machine shop operation or repair of major equipment.
+ Demonstrates a broad technical knowledge of construction, commissioning and completion activities.
+ Knowledge of completions system database is desirable.
+ Able to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineers.
+ Must have good computer software skills in MS Office suite as a minimum.
+ Must have good presentation skills for meetings with Project Management and Client.
+ Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to the needs of various discipline groups.
+ Must have the ability to assess and communicate project requirements and expectations in a clearly defined, positive and productive manner.
+ Valid Driver’s License for Site in Sweden.
