POSITION SUMMARY The President, ProMedica Bay Park Hospital is an experienced, innovative, and strategically oriented healthcare executive, administratively responsible for the safety, quality, operations, and clinical excellence at ProMedica Bay Park Hospital. This position has executive oversight for clinical and operational programs, services and overall performance at Bay Park Hospital as well as key stakeholder relationships in the Oregon and Rossford communities as a representative of ProMedica Health System. ACCOUNTABILITIES Develops and implements strategies and long-range plans as well as annual operating goals for Bay Park Hospital consistent with ProMedica’s vision, mission, system strategy and community health needs. Ensures all services are provided in accordance with system policy, professional, regulatory, and accrediting standards. Responsible for leading and maintaining a highly reliable culture of quality and safety including performance assessments, identification, and improvement activities including but not limited to access, clinical outcomes, financial performance, and patient & employee satisfaction and safety. Ensures all operations of Bay Park Hospital meet the needs of patients, physicians and the community and that performance standards for clinical services meet regulatory and clinical standards, as required and there is on-going innovation and optimization in the evolving healthcare delivery system. Maintains the daily operational effectiveness of Bay Park Hospital which includes the development and maintenance of capital and operating budgets and effective allocation of space and other resources. Collaborates within the system and with the medical staff to drive clinical standardization and optimization while advancing the trusted state-of-the-art care with exceptional experience. Advocates and promotes through exceptional communication and relationships Bay Park Hospital, its people, physicians, programs, services, community health and equity initiatives. Master’s degree in health care administration, business administration or related health care field Strong business acumen and exceptional communicator with demonstrated executive leadership experience in healthcare operations and finance. A strategically growth-oriented, innovative individual with demonstrated political savvy and an ability to navigate sensitive physician / executive issues while maintaining effective relationships.
