Our plant manufactures the high strength engineered wood product Timberstrand® in a 24/7 operations, non-union, manufacturing environment. Duties:
Promote and demonstrate a strong focus on safety at all timesLead functional area safety and RCA investigations – own and ensure completion of relevant action itemsSupport a respectful environment and encourage a positive attitude and cooperation within own team, as well as with all other departments within the plantSet strategic direction for the BFP area, set goals, expectations and drive accountability Manage the development, review and approval process of SJI and OJI documents for BFP areaEstablish training protocols for new operators and assess competency.Influence equipment purchasing and maintenance decisions for BFP area.Works cooperatively with maintenance to promote and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs – Work Orders/PM’s, Backlog Management and ODR routesAnalize downtime and report on eventsIdentify and facilitate opportunities for continuous improvement Manage the Management of Change process for functional areaProvide production team shift coverage as requiredTake advantage of this Limited opportunity to join the World’s premier timber, land and forest products company

You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
