**Job Title: Press Assistant** **Job Description** We specialize in printing labels for grocery stores such as CVS, Kroger, Dillons, Target, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, Ulta, and more. Recently acquired by a larger corporation, we have expanded our benefits package and are growing our team! **Responsibilities** + Assist the press operator with general labor tasks. + Stand at the end of the press to catch materials. + Check the quality of the product. + Box and palletize the boxes. + Potential growth into a press operator role through a training program. **Essential Skills** + General production worker experience + Packaging and general labor skills + Experience in machine operation + Assembly line work + Inspection and banding + Boxing and production + 6+ months of verified work experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to show up on time and be reliable + Willingness to learn new skills and seek career advancements + Must pass background and drug screening + Candidates with English as a second language are welcome; Spanish speakers are okay for any shift **Why Work Here?** We offer a 3% 401K contribution regardless of employee contribution, weekly pay once direct with the company, and reimbursement for steel-toed shoes ($100) once permanent. Employees receive 6 standard holidays off, 6 floating holidays, 40 hours of sick time off, and PTO. **Work Environment** The work environment is very clean and climate-controlled, although the production area is loud with a slight ink smell. Each shift has 15-20 people. Shifts are as follows: 1st Shift: Mon - Thurs 6 am - 4:30 pm, 2nd Shift: Mon - Wed 6 pm - 6 am and Thurs 6 pm - midnight, 3rd Shift: Fri - Sun 6 am - 6 pm. Employees must wear composite-toed or steel-toed shoes during interviews and shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Century, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
