Press Brake Operator
**Job Title: Press Brake Operator (1st Shift)** **Pay/Shift** 20-25/hr 1st shift - 6am-4:30pm - M-Th. **Job Description** The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tooling and materials. + Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine precise bending requirements. + Program and adjust machine settings, including speed, angle, and pressure, to achieve accurate bends and cuts. + Load materials into the machine and align them properly to ensure precise shaping. + Monitor the production process, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy. + Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. + Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. + Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule work orders. + Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and regulations. + Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and production issues. + Keep accurate records of production data and work performed. + Adhere to quality control standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. **Essential Skills** + Experience with press brake and brake press machines. + Proficiency in fabrication and sheet metal work. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience in setting up machines and production runs. + Accupress (or similar) setup experience. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
