At WINNING CONSULTING we are looking for a Presto Senior Java Developer profile to join our teams in a project for an important client in the Banking Sector - (Hybrid). 


To achieve this, you will need to have:Strong proven experience in Java/Core Java, with minimum of 8 years of proven experience in similar conditions;Strong proven experience in Java backend development with large volumes of data in high performance environments;Desirable knowledge/experience of Apache Ignite or other Database;Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP);Professional experience with Python and/or C++;Experience with GIT (preferably bitbucket);Experience with Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. 

Main Tasks
 

Works closely with Business Analysts to ensure the deliveries meet requirements;Develops, unit tests and implements new functionality and enhancements in the system in accordance with bank-wide technical architecture standards;Manages code reviews and source control repository as well as deployments (with APS);Improves existing software by correcting bugs, refactoring or rewriting code when identified necessary;Manages general software issues relating to data integrity, system efficiency, functional architecture, performance, etc.;Provides a clear progress update on tasks to the domain manager on a regular basis, escalates risk and issues in a timely manner;Provides mentoring and guidance to other team members and sets the technical direction within the scope of the concerned applications.
