We are looking to recruit a trainer to deliver Prevent Awareness packages to LCC staff, commissioned services and schools.  Prevent is part of the Governments counter-terrorism strategy, CONTEST.  The role will involve creating, adapting and delivering various Prevent related training packages to a variety of participants, both in person and on-line via Teams.

Please refer to the job description and person specification for details on the necessary skills and experience, but in summary the successful candidate will have:

Strong communication and presentation skills. An ability to create and adapt training packages to meet the needs of different audiences. Confidence to engage with and present to different audiences, including the ability to manage challenging and potentially contentious discussions. Able to form strong working relationships with partner organisations including education establishments.

An understanding of the Governments CONTEST and Prevent strategy.

As this role may require travel across the county, a full licence and access to your own transport would be highly beneficial.
