Responsibilities This document summarizes the purpose, essential functions, and major duties of the job. The essential functions are the fundamental requirements of the job. + Manage precise movements by coordinating eyes, hands, and fingers. + Adjust and service mechanical equipment and determine parts needed for repair. + Perform specialized machinist/assembly repairs when necessary. + Detect faulty equipment through inspection and testing. + Conduct troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns. + Work from blueprints, written specifications, and oral instructions. + Utilize testing and measurement equipment effectively. + Use computers for accessing information, completing training, and data input. + Follow all safety and company policies. + Be available for overtime, alternate schedules, and rotating shifts as required. Qualifications + Completion of the TXO Maintenance Support Mechanic Apprenticeship Program within the specified time. + Completion of Level 1 Machinery Lubrication Technician certification within 24 months of the start date. + Must obtain TXO fork truck certification/permit from Eastman Chemical Company.
