Preventative Maintenance Tech Assistant


    

 

We are currently looking for a Preventative Maintenance Tech Assistant to work with our Equipment Division.  

 

Responsibilities: 

Organize and clean PM Service truck on a regular basis Keep parts area clean and organized Machine knowledge to locate sample ports, drain plugs, fill ports, and filters Understand grease diagrams Perform services, greasing, and inspections with little supervision  Use parts software (SIS) to locate part numbers and service requirements

 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or (GED) equivalent 3 years of experience preferred Organizational and time management skills required. Must have the ability to set and keep priorities and professionally handle the stress associated with site needs Must be a Team player that is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision High degree of interpersonal skills with solid written and oral communication skills is required Must possess the personal discipline to establish the proper image as a representative of Morgan equipment group Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced service environment. Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills and be detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy Must be willing and able to travel throughout the Southeastern U.S. as needed Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including working overtime and weekends as needed

 

Work Environment:

Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity, for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.
