Banyan Global is seeking a Prevention Education Team Lead to lead the planning, administration, and monitoring of all Prevention and Wellness Services (PWS) for the Army Community Service (ACS) Family Advocacy Program (FAP) in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. The Army FAP focuses on preventing the onset and recurrence of child and spouse/intimate partner maltreatment, and their associated conditions. The program components include comprehensive community education and training related to the primary risk factors for maltreatment and neglect, to include but not limited to, persons with special needs, persons returning from deployment, persons in financial difficulty, persons newly assigned to, or pending departure from the installation.

 

The Prevention Education Team Lead serves as the primary on-site point of contact (POC) between the government and Banyan Global, ensuring high-quality service delivery in compliance with contractual obligations. The Team Lead is also responsible for providing technical and managerial oversight to Social Service Educators and Specialists. This position is open to qualified applicants in the United States and is contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities Plan, administer, and monitor prevention and wellness service requirements in close collaboration with government representatives.Implement and oversee the Quality Control Plan to ensure high standards of service delivery.Lead the implementation of Community Needs Assessments and other learning-focused activities to identify gaps and improve program outcomes.Provide technical and managerial oversight to Social Service Educators and Specialists.Serve as the on-site point of contact to monitor work site staffing and coordinate education and training requests from military units, individuals, and civilians.Represent the organization in meetings, briefings, and discussions related to prevention education and wellness services.Prepare and deliver regular updates, reports, and assessments to government representatives.Develop and recommend strategies for service enhancement and continuous learning.Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that aligns with program goals.Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.At least 5 years of professional experience in domestic violence prevention and child abuse neglect/maltreatment, education or intervention.At least 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a social services or educational setting.At least 2 years of experience in military lifestyle (may have been gained through work experience in the military support services, through prior active duty status, or as a current or former military family member).Strong professional writing, speaking, and presentation skills.Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities are highly desirable.Knowledge of best practices in abuse prevention and intervention is highly desirable.Ability to complete the online Family Advocacy Staff Training (FAST) and attend the 5-day FAST resident course.Must pass a childcare background check and FBI fingerprinting.
